             so the jist is that this is a rule of thumb method to find a good scale that you can use to improvise under
             certain chords or make melodies and other things

             what you do is get the chordtones of the chord and add on wholetone to the right of every note until all
             and that creates a good scale you can play over or make a melody

             this is a sheet for what scales you should play over certain chords all the first ones come from the chordtones +
             wholetone method and some from experince in playing and just what i think sounds good

             Major7/Major69/Major6 = Lydian Scale/Major Scale/Major Blues

             Minor7th = Dorain Scale/Minor Scale/Minor Blues

             Dominant7th = Mixolydian Scale/Lydian Dominant (also known as the acoustic scale)/Minor Blues
